As part of the fundraising campaign for American Prophet Matrix Theatre Company in Southwest Detroit hosted a benefit staged reading of the play by Fr. Dan Berrigan SJ. The play ties into the film, as both are set in 1968, the year when nine peace activists broke into the government office in Catonsville, Maryland and burned draft cards with homemade napalm to protest the Vietnam War.
